Programs and skillsets

What your child will learn with ISR Self-Rescue depends on their age and developmental readiness, but in all cases, your child will learn to roll onto their back to float and maintain this position until help arrives.

Rollback to Float

Infants to Early Walkers Will Learn to:

  • Roll onto their back to float.
  • Hold their float until help arrives.

Your baby may be ready for Rollback to Float if they are at least 6 months old AND able to sit on their own for 60 seconds.

Swim-Float-Swim

Early Walkers & Up Will Learn to:

  • Hold their breath underwater.
  • Swim with their eyes open.
  • Roll onto their back to float.
  • Flip over to continue swimming.

Your toddler may be ready for Swim-Float-Swim if they are walking at least 3 feet, unassisted.
